My name is Celestino. I am a Cartomancer and practitioner of Eclectic Root Work, a type of folk magic developed in America by Black People. I’m invested in studying and sometimes applying spiritual traditions and practices of my Caribbean lineage, the Black Diaspora, and the Indigenous American peoples on who's ancestral homelands I was raised and now live.

I’m currently available for Tarot Readings.

Based in so called New England, on Narragansett lands. I’m always in an out of Mohawk land and around the Lenapehoking lands in so called New York. I love the East Coast!

I believe modern spiritual circles are not only inundated with racist ideas but also a western approach to working with spiritual energies; one that privileges and valorizes the knowledge making tendencies of the west and fetishizes and demonizes those from other indigenous peoples around the world. In my writings, I blog about my studies with the express intent to decolonize my mind and spirituality. I hope my writings can help you with that process too.

My cartomancy practice started when I was a preteen, so I've been in the game for nearly 20 yrs. I've been reading for others for about 10 years. I've grown my practice from just using the familiar Tarot system to include playing cards, Lenormand cards, and other oracle decks. My cards love to talk about the hot goss in your life, the stuff you're trying to avoid, and the messy in-betweens.

I make spells to ready myself for liberation, to heal myself and my lineage, and to support myself financially by using my gifts and beliefs to help others. When I make spells for my supporters, I don't just share the ingredients. I want my supporters to come away from my spell-work feeling more connected and curious about the spiritual world around them. I am a Virgo sun, Aquarius moon, so I love researching a lot and love to share that information in digestible chunks.
